ラクトンチオール・スピエラ・酸性カーリング剤(1)

スピエラという名称の薬品 : 2-メルカプト-4-ブタノリド
化粧品表示名称：ブチロラクトンチオール
溶解度は水100ｇに対して9.5ｇしか溶けない溶解度の低い物質
スピエラのウェーブ効率はキルビー法のカール形成力テストで
pH5で67％というpH9のシスティンの62％のウェーブ効率を
しのぐデーターが公開されてます。

チオグリコール酸換算で2％相当が化粧品として使えるカーリング剤
としてのスピエラの濃度が2.5％。これが使用できるスピエラ濃度です。

使用にあたり水巻きが基本らしい。前処理は基本的に必要ないといった感じ。
かかりに温度も関係して温度の高さもかかりを早くする方法である。
テストカールはやはり軟化度のチェックはできないので独特のテストカールが必要である。
中間水洗は臭いの問題を抱えるスピエラなので水洗が必要。
二液の酸化時間も長めの設定が必要。


写真のテストでは14.5mmと12mmの直径のロッドを使用。
チオpH8を使用時よりも2段階下の径のロッドを使用しました。
ツケ巻きでダメージ部は成和化成のWK-HSIGでわずか前処理。
脂質系油成分は使用せず。16分で中和。
テストカールの概念もないわけではないですが、
時間はしっかり置いて損傷は著しく少ないので忘れた頃に
中和しても丁度良い仕上がりになりました。
ロッド径を意識した方がよさそうな酸性カーリング剤です。
